The Pasture
Bowie
Spot the Wonder Horse came to live with us after his owners were moving out of state and could no longer care for him. He had been placed on a pasture for the past couple years and when we arrived to bring him to The Ranch, we discover he was almost completely blind. If you look closely in his eyes you will see his cataracts or what we like to call the stars in his eyes.
The Trusty Trio
Legacy - Legacy or Legs for short used to be a race horse. However he was not a very good one so he had an early retirement. He became a lesson horse for little girls at a ranch in Redlands. As Leslie, began looking to purchase a ranch of her own she stumbled across legs and fell in love. She came home and told Eric that she didn’t know if she could live without that horse. Shortly after, Leslie called the ranch and discovered Legs had been sold a few days before. This was heartbreaking news. However, little did she know Eric was the one who had purchased legs and brought him home for her birthday.
Maya is one of our two border horse at the ranch. Her favorite thing to do is cause mischief.
Honey Dijon - Honey was originally owned by the same person as Maya. However, he has a lot of spirit and was a little too much horse.
